Fibonacci

Look carefully at broccoli and you will see the florets are arranged in spirals, just as cauliflower is. It is harder to spot because of the sprouts, but it's there. Look at the stalk and you'll see it more clearly. Romanescu Broccoli (above) is the most remarkable vegetable. Not only does it display the florets in the spiralling arrangement, but it shows the fractal nature in the florets. That is, a floret looks like a small copy of the whole.
